Many thanks to those teachers who have shown an interest in online teaching and authoring. Course Authoring For more details about opportunities for online course authoring, click here. Online Teaching Good online teachers, like good classroom teachers, are strong curriculum writers, are able to differentiate curriculum and instruction, provide valid and timely formal and informal feedback to students, and manage individual and group activities. When considering applying for an online teaching position, you will be asked how these characteristics can be accomplished without face-to-face contact with your students. Find out more about online teaching by reading this Information Sheet. If you wish to teach online through Night School or Summer School, you must go to the Continuing Education website (http://www.conted.peelschools.org) to apply online. Interviews are conducted 2-3 times per year. As well, you must update your online application each year to express your interest to teach. Teachers would only be called if there are sufficient numbers enrolled in a course. Blended Learning/Teaching If you are teaching in a Peel day school and would like to use an online course to supplement your classroom course, please contact us for access to the online course. If after viewing the course, you feel you can use it, we will enroll your class in a duplicate course for you to use.
