Credit Night School is an option for students for a number of reasons. Three typical student profiles are shown below.

  • Marilyn enters the program with a mark of 50 to 65 per cent. She attends class regularly, attempts all homework in the course, and answers several questions correctly on a regular basis. She is successful in Credit Night School where concepts learned previously have been reinforced and reviewed in order to "top-up" previous knowledge

  • Amar enters the program with a mark of 70 per cent or higher. Amar attends class daily, and wants to improve his mark in order to meet the requirements for the next level or for entrance into a college or university program. He is successful in Credit Night School by putting in extra hours of work outside the regular classroom in order to improve on the previous mark.

  • Simran enters the program and has not taken the course before. Simran attends class daily, and wants to "fast track" to allow for more options in his senior year at high school. This credit will be used towards entry into a program at college or university. It may allow Simran the flexibility to take an additional course should he choose to do so.
