Elementary and secondary registration

All elementary and secondary students who have not pre-registered in April/ May 2008 register on September 13 (for Saturday classes) or September 14, 2008 (for Sunday classes) between 9:00 am and noon at the school where the language is being offered if space is available. If classes are full, students will be put on waiting lists and contacted if space becomes available.  Non-Peel Board secondary day school students must bring transcripts.

For new elementary and secondary registrants to the Board, one of the following original documents is required: Canadian Citizenship, Citizenship and Immigration Canada "Record of Landing".

All classes will begin the following weekend, on September 20, or 21, 2008. No classes are scheduled for holidays or school vacations. Classes operate each weekend until June 6 or 7, 2009. Elementary classes are scheduled to operate for 2.5 hours and secondary classes for three hours each day. All classes are scheduled to begin between 8:30 am and 10:00 am depending on the location.

Formation of Classes
Formation of classes takes place in September. All classes are conditional on sufficient enrolment and are subject to cancellation or transfer to an alternate location. Please note that space in some courses may be limited.

Deadline policy
The Ministry of Education requires a minimum number of hours of instructions at the credit level, no secondary school student will be registered after Thanksgiving weekend.  No elementary school student will be registered after March Break.

Cost
Visa students wishing to take a credit course will be charged $900.00.
