Where do I find out about the International Languages program?
Peel District School Board day school students can pick up a copy of the International Languages brochure from their guidance office starting in the spring for fall classes.
Who can attend the International Languages program?
Students who are currently enrolled in junior kindergarten to grade 8, or who will be attending junior kindergarten in September, can enrol in the elementary program. Students who are currently enrolled in grades 9 to 12 are eligible to attend the Credit International Languages program. Elementary students are placed in age-appropriate classes only. For example, a student in grade 2 during day school would also be in grade 2 for the International Languages program.
When can I register?
Pre-registration takes place at locations during the month of April/May.
Late registration takes places at sites in mid-September where space is available.
If classes are full, students will be put on waiting lists and contacted if space becomes available.
Where does the International Program take place?
The International Language program takes place in the following areas:
Brampton, Malton and Mississauga. Look for school locations closest to you.
How do I get a report card?
Report cards are distributed to elementary students mid-January and the last day of the school year, usually during the first weekend in June.
Report cards are distributed to secondary students once per term. There are three terms: September to December, January to March and post March break to June.
Report cards will remain at the locations until the end of the program and then are transferred to the Continuing Education office for pick-up beginning two weeks after the close of the program.
How do I get a transcript?
Credit students can order transcripts in advance at each school location. The cost is $2.00 per transcript. It is the student's responsibility to forward these documents to a university or college.
