Understanding the Early Years — Malton
Malton Summit - The Early Years and Beyond
Thank you for making the Summit a success!

In February, Understanding the Early Years Malton and its partners hosted a series of events called “The Malton Summit: The Early Years and Beyond.”  Everyone was welcome - over 150 people attended!  The Summit focused on building a Community Action Plan to benefit not only Malton’s youngest citizens and their families, but the entire community.

All people had to do was pick a day to come to the Summit, see our community-based data, and share their ideas for making Malton better than ever!

To make it the best action plan we can, we asked for your feedback! On May 20th we began sharing the draft Action Plan and asking for your help prioritizing the actions.

How did people participate?

Starting on May 20th and for the following three weeks, 140 people who lived or worked in Malton visited the survey website, reviewed the Community Action Plan, and then filled out the brief survey that told us their priorities for action.

Based on everyone’s responses, we were able to prioritize the actions and finalize the Community Action Plan.  With the help of people who live and work in Malton, we completed a Community Action Plan to benefit not only Malton’s youngest citizens and their families, but the entire community.
