  Peel board junior students showcase LEGO robots
  Nearly 100 grade 1 to 4 students from five Peel District School Board schools will take part in the Junior First LEGO League Showcase on May 28 at the HJA Brown Education Centre. The program features a real-world challenge to be solved by research, critical thinking and imagination

Peel student filmmakers project their work on the big screen at the third annual Peel Student Film Festival

Peel District School Board students in grades 9 to 12 will showcase their films at the third annual Peel Student Film Festival on May 30 at Orion’s Gate Cineplex Odeon Theatre in Brampton. There will be six categories of film shown including, animation, short film, commercial/public service announcement, experimental film, music video and news report/documentary. Students will get a certificate of participation and receive feedback from film industry judges who have donated their time to the festival.

Peel board pays tribute to long-serving volunteers

The Peel District School Board will honour its long-serving volunteers with a special reception at the HJA Brown Education Centre on May 30. Those being honoured have volunteered in Peel for at least five years or are community members on board committees.
